Attentiveness
Showing the worth of a person or task by giving my undivided concentration
vs. Distraction
White-Tailed Deer
There is more to the white-tailed deer's attentiveness than its acute hearing. The deer carefully evaluates the sights, sounds, and smells it receives. It is the mental processes behind the deer's senses that make it truly attentive.
I WILL:
-
Learn to listen.
-
Look at people when they speak to me.
-
Ask questions to gain full understanding.
-
Sit or stand up straight.
-
Don't distract others.
Quote
"If I have ever made any valuable discoveries,
it has been owing more to patient attention, than to any other talent."
-Isaac Newton
